DOOR wins four Dutch Interactive Awards (DIAs)
DOOR is the most awarded agency of the DIA ceremony 2022 with four DIAs. The culture label of Digital Design & Innovation bureau IN10 was nominated five times with their work for Stichting Oorlogsbronnen, Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen and Nederlands Fotomuseum. During the presentation on Thursday 2 June in the Beurs van Berlage, DOOR won four DIAs in the categories Content, Data, Service and Tools.
Oorlogsbronnen.nl three times DIA winner
Stichting Oorlogsbronnen won three DIAs in the categories Content, Data and Service. DOOR developed the platform Oorlogsbronnen.nl that provides context to more than 12.5 million sources by linking them to events, places, people and themes. In this way, more than 300,000 lives of Dutch people who were involved in the war have been reconstructed and made accessible to the general public. According to the jury, Oorlogsbronnen is the champion when it comes to sources and storytelling.
Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen wins DIA Tools category
DOOR won a DIA in the Tools category with the app for Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen. The Depot of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen is the first publicly accessible depot in the world and a new Rotterdam icon. DOOR designed the app for an optimal depot experience. In the app, visitors will find the most important information about tens of thousands of works of art, interactive stories and their own, inspiring Boijmans collection. The jury thought the stories in the app were a real feat: a new way of interacting with art. This is an example for museums at home and abroad: an impressive project with many technical aspects and innovations. The app also won The Webby Awards this year in the Apps-Art, Culture and Events category and has also been nominated for a European Design Award.
Special thanks for the great cooperation with the teams of our clients and our partners Spinque (Oorlogsbronnen) and Thonik (Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen).
About the DIA Awards
The Dutch Interactive Awards (DIA) are the prizes for the very best interactive online work by Dutch agencies. The awards have been presented annually since 2010. All cases are judged by an independent jury of industry experts.
